Increasing trend of Urbanization and its impact on rural population, migration of rural youth for diminutive venture and impairing his life. Agriculture being a high potential occupation, but due to certain limitations rural population had developed an appallingly negative attitude towards it. Bhagirath Gram Vikas Pratisthan was formed in the year 1987, with an idea to make rural India self-reliant. We have framed various plans to achieve the goal. Development through people's co-operation is our theme. Maximum Utilization of available resources, along with a proper scientific method of conservation helps to attain a systematic development.
When talking about rural development, we have solutions for every need. Rural population comprising of young and adults both, Quality Education for younger and agro based employment for Adults to contribute a substantial part in their earnings. Not only Production we also think about consumption, such as Bio-gas helps evade deforestation and similar other initiatives at rural level contribute a lot in various dimensions.
Dr. Prasad Deodhar a leading medical Practitioner, initially began with small initiatives by mobilizing resources and making rural youth aware of best scientific technique, also help them in implementation as well. Tackling rural issues with Bio-gas, Organic farming, Changing Crop Pattern, along with Quality education, Health and other such initiatives. Today this organization is acknowledged by various Governmental as well as private institutions.
