Agriculture being a traditional occupation, farmers is tending to follow the stiff practice pertaining to selection of Crop. Explaining the farmers' about economics and commercial part, along with a demonstrative model for better familiarity helped in implementing new crops in many areas.
Step 1- Calculating the Commercial part of existing crop
and comparing with a new.
Step 2- Experimenting the new crop in a Demonstrative way, maintaining the documentation.
Step 3- Field visit to farmers for first hand information.
Step 4- Training farmers on certain technological implementation.
Step 5- Execution by farmers in their fields, with the Monitoring and support by our organization.
Bhagirath Gram Vikas Pratisthan has ventured new cropping pattern with Sunflower, Turmeric, Ginger and other high returning crops. resulting in more returns from available resources.
