How it was Instigated
While Dr. Prasad Deodhar was practicing at Kudal, Patients from various rural places used to come for the treatment. Casual talk with farmers spotted towards various problems these people were encountering with. One of which was appallingly negative attitude towards farming. It was hard to digest for one that being such a high potential agrarian economy and the farmers are swapping occupation. Further interaction revealed various flaws in practice and believes of these farmers. Dr. Deodhar Decided to do something for these rural inhabitants. To stop migration to cities for mere 3000/- job, he was very much confident with his ideas. That would help an individual to earn handsome money using the available resources. And since then the activity got started with the name "Bhagirath Gram Vikas Pratisthan".
